The Mizuno Wave Rider 2 Neo 2 for men are neutral and light running shoes. The NEO line is a light and streamlined addition to Mizuno's collection. In the impressive history of the Wave Rider model, the Wave Rider Neo 2 is the lightest shoe to date. The shoes offer a premium feel for beginning as well as experience runners who go for speed.
The upper of the NEO 2 has been adapted to a Smoothfit construction with a gusseted tongue. The air mesh material has been reinforced and ensures a snug feel. A pull tab is added to the back in oder to make it easier to put on and take off the shoes.
The Mizuno Enerzy midsole is 15% more springy and 17% softer than the material of the predecessor. The Neo 2 also has a midsole that's 1 mm thicker than that of the Wave Rider 25, this ensures more cushioning and more energy return. The Wave Plate technology ensures extra stability and springiness.
Added underneath the forefoot is a lightweight G3 rubber outsole. This outsole ensures grip and a powerful take-off. To make the shoes more durable X10 carbon rubber has been added underneath the heel.
